Cecilia Petit is an LADC and co-occurring counselor at TCWCRG. Prior to her work at TCWCRG Cecilia worked at Minnesota Indian Women’s Resource Center where she was part of the re-opening of the intensive outpatient program: Nokomis Endaad. Cecilia is currently finishing school for yoga teacher certification as well as her master's degree through the Integrated Behavioral Health Studies program at the University of Minnesota. Cecilia works from the ideology that healing occurs through self-empowerment. In the treatment setting this gets practiced through collaboration and role building in the group/community as well as through the counseling relationship. Cecilia encourages clients to draw on their unique strengths to carve out fulfilling life paths.
